I have not provided a link to the above article. I guess you could find it with Google. Hardly worth while focusing on this particular article because we all are hearing stories about how retirement aged Canadians with a moderate nest egg can find dream lifestyle retirement by relocating into an Arizona Retirement Complex.
Out of general interest, I spent some time considering the attractiveness and financial implications of an Arizona retirement lifestyle. Namana's and my feet remained firmly glued in Saskatchewan. However I wonder around quite a bit on the internet.
Certainly Namana and I feel quite secure and satisfied remaining here in Saskatchewan. But I am wondering about our American cousins entering retirement with what they thought, 5 years ago, was a modest nest egg.

I love Arizona - would retire there in a heart beat but....
one must be careful about the whole health care issue. One major health incident and that modest nest egg will be scrambled.

what LB said.
You don't even need a 'major' health incident to break the bank. Do your homework.
