This is the first time I recall hearing of Children's Book Week - looks pretty interesting -
There's a theme - this year Read to Remember - honouring the 100th anniversary of WWI. Lots of authors on tour, speaking to schools & other groups.
Is there anything going on in your community? Have you heard of this before? Maybe I'm just out of the loop, not having kids in school anymore.

I never heard of it - my Grandchildren haven't mentioned it. But it's a good idea. And a good topic to focus on.

Hey seeler - once your book gets published maybe you'll be one of the authors giving talks at schools & libraries! That would be pretty cool!
