I was reading the pumpkin pie threads and saw that it was a diaper that turned RevMatt off of pumpkin pie. It made me remember a funny moment with diapers, and I am betting others have some too.
Here's mine.
My first child was in the first group of infants to go through a brand-new daycare centre. The staff were wonderful and they just loved our wee ones and took great care of them.
They accustomed themselves to this mother who not only used cloth diapers but also still breast fed her son, even though she was back at work.
One day though I got to the daycare centre, the teachers pounced: "What had I fed him"?
I guess one of the teachers was changing his diaper, and almost had a heartattack. It looked like he had had a bug infestation. Lots of teeny tiny black dots filled his diaper. It looked like the diaper was covered in fleas.
They split their sides laughing when they realized he had decided he loved Kiwi's on the weekend and had been chowing down on them.
I wonder if any of them quit eating them after that day?

Apparently when I was little my Auntie gave me bubble gum ice cream and I had blue poop for a week...

I used to work at an infant- toddler daycare. I remember changing one tot's diaper and the poop was this brilliant fushia colour. Apparently, he'd had beets for lunch.

How slowly do you read, LJ? :)
Our favourite diaper story, beyond pumpkin pie, was the time that daughter #1 was about 6 months old, and a good friend was holding her upright in her lap and talking to her. Daughter had pants on at the time, and all we could see was the aforementioned pumpkin pie filling oozing down her leg, into the friend's lap. And not a small quantity, either...

Hah, i remembered as a new mom, when I realized that one always takes the time to diaper the baby.
Phone rang, I was in the middle of changing him, and had my robe on.... put him on my hip & went for the phone....
As I was chatting, I wondered what that feeling was on my leg...looked down ..and you guessed it....aah, breastfed kids...lol
