146th Canadian Dead in Afghanistan

Today another Canadian died in Afghanistan. His name was Larry Rudd.
He was the 146th soldier killed and there are about 19 months to go before the end of 2011.
This is what I think we should do.
On Canada Day, on main street in every town, we should march for peace, now.
No political parties, no activist organizations, just people who want the killing to stop.
Will you march with me?

I would certainly march. By setting a departure date, Harper has clearly shown that even he does not believe this is a war of any importance to Canada. If that is true, Rudd died simply to help Harper look as though he's withdrawing gracefully.
