I am a big fan of Supernatural. Partially because the main character used to be on Seventh Heaven and partially because I like the show. It is a little more modern than the movies like the Exorcist and Repossessed. However. the Christianity is not so apparent. Paganism I think is. They research and find out how to kill whatever entity is bothering the innocents. Though I am not sure how true to the Paganistic roots the show is. An actual Wiccan would need to answer that. I can say that the show is not a representation of how Christianity fights demons. At least no any type of Christianity that I am familaar with and I am bound to not be familaar with EVERY type in the world. In my experience of demon chasing the demon chasers or as we would call them Spiritual Warriors do not research demons. Though I have read many books on the topic but not to research a specific demon just to research the different types and levels. This is why I have absolutely no guilt in watching this show because it is so far away from real life that it is in category of plain fiction or even a fairy tale. I do find that the superstitions and history when they research the entity is interesting.

I've never heard of this show ... of course, I just got cable for the first time in 15 years yesterday, so I sorta need to catch up.
When is this on in the GTA??

It's on Friday Nights on city tv and again on Saturday night on Space. You will like it!
Jensen Ackles was in one episode of 7th Heaven Serena. He's had recurring roles on more prominent shows than that one time appearence.

SciFi he was the associate pastor for just about 6 months until Lucy graduated from seminary. That is another thing I like is to see actors in totally opposite shows.

Serena, that was Jeremy London who also did party of five.
The two series regulars are Jensen Ackles as the older brother Dean and Jared Padalecki as Sam. Jensen did work on Smallville, Dark Angel, Dawson's Creek and Days of Our Lives and Jared did previous work on Gilmore Girls.

Ok SciFi I'll take your word for it. I don't have time to watch all those shows.
