Anybody listened to the latest WHO CD?
Great song #2 on the CD. At least for this oldtimer WHO freak. Seems Peter Townshend has done a lot of spiritual contemplation in writing this and other songs on the new one....

He's been a coffin dodger for a long time.
Sounds like I'm the only U.C. person on this site that give a WHO.....
Sigh.
Maybe I'm the one that needs to be looking over my shoulder for a coffin. Nothing a bottle of Buckley's couldn't alleviate (stops the coffin....har har)

Yes the song takes a swipe at the pope - basically all religious figues that come between an individual and God. Lots of spiritual damaged caused by "religious leaders".....

Come on Blah.....he's not evil, he's just another human being like the rest of us....he's just got one of the cushiest jobs, that's all....
I was never really into worshipping other humans....
Does this mean we're off-topic?
It might be time to end this sad lonely thread....

Whatever, I'm still and always a fan....soemthing about Quadrophenia spoke to me in my youth...still, and I'm an escapist I guess.
