Just so you know, he (or should I say his producer) uses Auto Tuner and melodyne on his voice in post production. The "incredible range" and "fabulous quality" of tone are manufactured. For instance in "You raise me up" he actually sang a G (easy for any baritone) then they tweaked it up to a B to impress the world. I'd like to hear him without his microphone, producers, and post-production team.
Unfortunately, it is a sign of the times, fake is the fad. I bet more than 90% of Canadians don't know the name of the worlds top tenor (genuine article, no mics involved) and wouldn't dream to guess he was born and raised right here in our fair country. We ought to be raising him up instead!
