Old Battlestar Gallactica

I watched the Old Battlestar Gallactica today. I can't believe a science fiction fan such as myself has missed this show. Maybe it was before my time as the Commander used to be the Dad on Bonanza.

My question to those of you who have watched this show is the actor of Serena who is engaged to the Captain did she go on to be Captain Janeway in Star Trek Voyager or the woman doctor in Medicine Woman.

I don't remember the character Serena at all, but I doubt it was Jane Seymour, British actress whose first foray into the NA scene was playing Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman.

Actually it was Jane Seymour as Serina in the first three episodes of Old Battlestar Galactica. (and the movie of course which was slightly different than the two part series opener.) and yes she later played Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman.

Her filmography can be found here...http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0005412/

Thanks WSchnauzer. She also guest appeared in Smallville, and starred in the film Heidi and Swiss Family Robinson. I had no idea she was so old. Intersting to watch these old shows and see what some actors/.actresses looked like such a long time ago.

"I had no idea she was so old."

So OLD?? I resemble that remark! She's five years younger than I am (and getting better looking all the time - she is truly a gorgeous woman).

Oh, BTW, Capt. Janeway was played by Kate Mulgrew.

Really, I am very surprized that Jane Seymour crossed the Atlantic that long ago. She was hilarious as a law professor, Mrs. Robinson type on "How I Meet Your Mother" a few weeks ago.

Serena, don't I know it! Music keeps me young!
