Today, I watched men's gymnastics, the horizontal bar event. I just saw a rerun of it now. The gold winner, Zonderland, is nicknamed "The Flying Dutchman. He put on a performance like I have never seen. Perfect moves, perfect form, perfect landing Incredible! The althletes who followed didn't stand much of a chance of beating him. Although they all did well they made a few mistakes. Afterwards, all of the teams were hugging and high fiving and congratulating the winner. It moved me to tears. Competitor..but not arch rivals...also friends and good sports. Anyone had a similar moment while watching the Olympics that touched them?

I just read it Kimmio, but I really liked the interview with Clara Hughes once she was finished.

I was talking with someone at work about moments like this today. My favourite moment, thus far, was at the end of the women's heptathalon when all of the women were hugging one another and everyone took the victory lap together.
