I've just spent the last 10 minutes laughing... my sides hurt... it's just so... wonderfully silly!
Ah, Weird Al... you've done it again. :)

ribott,
Hi,
Yes it is Al at his creative best.
I was enjoying the video and the lyrics until Donnie Osmond popped up and busted some moves in a dorky fashion.
That was incredible.
I laugh every time I see it.
Grace and peace to you.
John
ps while the animation for "Don't Download this Song" doesn't work for me the song is a wonderful shot at the bigwigs who frown on file sharing.

You gotta check out the polka for this CD. Fantastica!
(Note that this is not the official video, it just takes clips from the actual songs, but I think you can appreciate it)

Yeah, great stuff; I used to be a big Weird Al fan (I've got most of his CDs) I'm getting the new one for Christmas, "Straight Outta Lynwood"; you gusy checked out 'Canadian Idiot' yet? Not bad either.

I love the Star Wars Christmas special part of the video...Pure Genius as that goes beyond the mere classicly nerdy into the realm of hardcore

"The only question that I ever found hard, was do I like Kirk or do I like Picard"
Best line. Kirk, as you can see by my avatar. Yes, I'm white and nerdy.

picard could wipe the holodeck with kirk.
however, its a moot point, because
picard < obi wan kenobi.

Well of course. I'd even say Obi-Wan > Kirk. But within the realm of Star Trek? Kirk no contest. He always gets the girl, blows the bad guys to kingdom come, and has time for some witty banter at the end of the episode. Plus, who could top his...masterful...dramatic...pauses.
That's not to say I don't hold Picard near and dear to my heart. I grew up on the guy. And no one looks better bald.

well, when it came to ship to ship space battle, picard had a 'manouver' named after him. kirk didn't. picard could fly that enterprise through the eye of a needle, and blow up a borg cube on the other side.
picard could also metally outwit ANYBODY. he brought down one of starfleets top prosecutors when they went after a member of his crew, and he outthought the entire borg collective to save the galaxy. he also outwitted that slimey blob that destroyed tasha yar, one of starfleets top tactical officers.
and when it came to hand to hand combat, my money was always on picard... he took on all comers... romulans, klingons, cardassians, you name it.

Keep in mind, Kirk only had a few years. I think he was only hitting his stride when they canceled Star Trek.

... and most of the time, kirk was too busy hitting on curvey green alien women....

Sure, Kirk was a ladies' man. But that was part of his awesomeness. And how many times did the guy have his heart broken when the alien girl he fell for ended up dying at the end of the episode?

Woph! Thats funny!
It's a good thing I am not white - or I would be white and nerdy too!
Joke, I am all that, (and the bag of chips!) :)
