What tv shows do you have to watch every week/day?
I have to watch
Amazing Race,
America's Next Top Model, (and Canada's when its on)
Gilmore Girls,
The Colbert Report,
The Daily Show
Rick Mercer Report
Studio 60 (I love how it comes on Sunday nights in Canada :D)
I was getting into 6 Degrees but they've pulled it and I will add Crossing Jordan to the list if it ever comes back (the official site says "comming soon"

Hey, I confess to liking Dancing with the Stars too, but balance that off with Ric Mercer when it gets too saccharine. Dr. Phil 50% of the time and Oprah 35% of her topics, and the new Gil show during CBC daytimes is good for us stay at home types (learned to fix a toilet last week!).

i love the rick mercer report and corner gas. we also love to watch 'americas funniest videos' as a family.
there aren't a lot of other family friendly shows out there, so i just leave the tv off most nights. i love to read, anyways.

I try for Degrassi but I don't watch for the kids. I watch for Snake, Spike, Joey and Caitlyn. Hey, I've been with them since we were kids! (even though the teenagers in my life think their storylines are sooooo boring!)

Thursdays are usually the only tv night: The OC, Grey's Anatomy, ER but I seemed to be sucked into this site tonight and missed all of my shows. I must say this is infinitely more interesting.
PS if I have access to cable I love "Little People Big World" and "Miami Ink"

Hasn't anyone discovered Heroes? We're totally hooked. SAVE THE CHEERLEADER SAVE THE WORLD. It really doesn't get much better than that.
Otherwise...
Amazing Race (also getting a bit boring - too bad some of the really interesting teams got eliminated so early)
Studio 60
Lost
Grey's Anatomy
ER
Jericho

I heard on the radio today that Amazing Race is having an All-Star season next and Rob and Amber are back... thoughts?
I thought about a church "Amazing Grace" fun-raiser, teams contribute to participate (offsets costs), things are geared to the Bible or faith... It only has to be a one day event... Do you think it would fly? I have a long winter that I could fine tune it....

I tend to watch one major show each night along with the news.
Monday-Dr. Who
Tuesday-Gilmore Girls
Wednesday-Jericho (I was very excited to see other fans here)
Thursday-Grey's Anatomy
Friday-Rick Mercer, South Park (they bring up some difficult issues even if it's done through some very offensive humor)

StephenGordon:
Sounds like a cool fundraiser. You could have challenges based on activities mentioned in the bible such as finding a coin, finding particular items to buy (for the food bank), making items (tents, baskets), herding sheep, carrying items, riding a donkey...
Good luck!

-24!!!!! (My mom complained that my brother and I were too obsessed until we finally made her sit down and watch an episode in season 4...she's as hooked as we are now :-D hey, it might not be your typical "family show", but it brings us together!
-House...that wit is priceless
-One Tree Hill (my one guilty, teenage, sappy, dramatic pleasure)
-Gilmore Girls
-Grey's Anatomy...who can't love it?
-Amazing Race...I enjoy watching team chemistry go from "We can do anything as long as we do it together!" to "BABE, will you SHUT UP AND LET ME FINISH!?!?"
So depending on the time of year, almost one for every night of the week

The last show I watched on a regular basis was "This is Wonderland" -- I was disappointed when they cancelled it, too.
I don't want to miss the premier of "Little Mosque on the Prairie" on Tuesday night.
