I wasn't sure where to put this, but I think this is the best place. Does the bright orange on white bother anyone else, or is it just me? I can barely read anything on this site without highlighting all the text first. Anyone else have the same problem, or any thoughts on what might be a better color scheme?

I haven't had any trouble reading the text. Why don't you try turning down the brightness on your screen? Maybe that would help.

The small font is a challenge to my near sighted middle aged eyes.

If one is using Firefox as their browser, hit the "Ctrl" and "+"... it increases the fontsize nicely... though you may have problems finding some of the buttons!
IE allows you to do it under the "View->Text Size" menu line.
