Here’s a link directly to the Cancer Survivor page - http://davidrkeating.com/articles/i-am-a-cancer-survivor/
I hope this imbedded.
Many of you have wondered about David(GoldenRule). He has had a trying time and has been journaling about his journey with cancer
. He gave me permission to post the link and he hopes that it will help others on their journey as well. I hope you take the time to read it and respond to GR if you wish.

crazyheart, I appreciate you posting this link. I just read all of GoldenRule's entries. What a difficult, challenging journey, what a gift that he has shared it. I too am thinking of him.

Thanks for sharing this crazyheart. Wow, what a wonderfully written personal account ... David has a great gift ... I feel fortunate to have the opportunity to read this.
CH - did you meet GR as he journeyed homeward? I'm hoping he & Mike Patterson connect, as Mike's moving to the Kingston area - I can so imagine them sitting by the lake, talking, debating, sharing a beer ...

Thank you Golden Rule for articulating your journey so well.
Not only does it benefit those suffering from cancer ("I'm one of many") - but it gives those of us who are relatives/friends a clear idea of all that is entailed, not only physically but psychologically.

Ahh CH, that's so lovely to hear that you were able to meet in person ... I bet that hour flew by, and will be well remembered by both of you.
(BTW - I do LOVE that sweet little face peeking out of your avatar these days!)

Crazyheart and others - I too would like to read GoldenRule's journal about surviving cancer. Following your link, I found the first of 18 articles. Hunting around a bit I also found the 18th. It seems that I am missing a lot.
Can anyone help me - remembering that I am computer illiterate?

Hi seeler. When you click on the link, on the right hand side, you will see 16 titles listed starting with I am a Cancer Survivor. Go down them one by one. The last one so far is Let's Go for a walk (I think).
Any one can leave him a message. He was very appreciative of Pinga's comment. Please leave him one.

Thank you Crazyheart. Foolish me. I saw that box on the side and I thought it was a poem, with each line part of his experience with cancer. I never realized it was a list of titled to his entries. I've been reading - four or five at a time. I feel I can so easily identify with David - I've walked the walk with my daughter. Surgery, chemo, radiation - different types of cancer, somewhat different treatments, somewhat different side effects, but the important thing - they became survivors.
(I posted this and then went back to read David's last few posts) I am so sorry to hear that David has had continued severe health problems - including a second surgery, and on going life-threatening episodes. I don't know how he is able to keep up his spirits, but he does. And he continues to make us smile and realize that life is truly wonderful. Thank you David for sharing your story.
