I found this on You Tube. I think it is quite possibly Janis Ian's most beautiful song. I got to see her sing it at the Prince George Folk Festival a few years ago. I sat there in the park sobbing as I listened because it slayed me. My mother was a singer, and I would truly love to hear her sing again. I am posting this to share this beautiful song.
I am walking for my mother in August so that others can have their mothers for longer.

Well, that sucks. I will try again. If that does not work, go to You Tube and look for Janis Ian - I hear you sing again. It is wicked good.
It shows up in my text box, but not in the preview or final post. As I said, it is Janis Ian singing "I Hear You Sing Again". Bring out the Kleenex.

Ah yes Pilgrim, me too. We were honoured to be able to see her in person a few years ago. My friend and I, both in our late 40's at the time, bought our CDs and stood in the line to get them autographed. We were like a pair of giddy schoolgirls! Janis is tiny and very personable. I think she'd be a kick to meet and visit for a bit. She certainly puts on a great show. She has you laughing and crying. She's wonderful.
