Camping is getting away from everything run by batteries or power, not playing on computer.
It's more about walking in the woods and catching bugs than eating hotdogs.

I don't know Crazyheart. I met my (ex-)husband at church. Don't know if a church website will be any better. Just more modern.

I am 24, male, and straight. I'm tall and slim. I am quiet and kind.

I would be looking for someone of about the same age as me, give or take a few years. She would have to be relaxed, easy going, and fun to be around. She would have to have a bit of a sense of adventure -- I'm going travelling next year to meet some friends in England and then maybe swing through Portugal with some of them (one of whom I've never met in person before) -- would love to have someone to go with me. (We would be backpacking in hostels, no hotels for us.)

She would also have to be the type of person who enjoys quiet activities from time to time as I love to read and write. She would also have to like kids -- I don't have any, but both my jobs (and hopefully my soon to be third job) all revolve around kids. She would also have to be willing to face the unknown -- I'm going through this life without a road map and am loving it.

Sterton, good luck but just a word of caution, don;t percieve that all United church folk are in favour of same-sex relationships and glbts. There are alot in favour and supporting but not all. so don't assume that if the person is United Church, he will hold all your values. Good Luck.

Well 4 years have gone by since this thread was started. Many of the posters are no longer around. I presume they hooked up with someone and  are living happily ever after.

Now I do know about Serena. She has gone through more men in the last year than Carter has liver pills Maybe she will drop by and fill us in on where she found them all.

I know Alex has had a couple of relationships. Maybe he will drop in and fill us in.

I know the roofer has pattered many a heart in the cafe  He is batting the women off except for Pilgrims and myself. Serena has tried her best but she seems to be lacking in appeal to him.
