If Jesus was born , as they say, in December, he would be a Capricorn. For all you folk who are interested in the Zodiac or Astrology, do you think that Capricorn describes him in the Bible?

Christmas in December 25 was actully a Roman thing. They would pave over many pagan holidays with Christian ones. Ancient Historians think he was actually more of a spring baby. Pisces or Aries perhaps?

If the shepherds were with their flocks in the fields by night, it must have been lambing season. At all other times the shepherds would keep their sheep within a stone corral and lay their bedrolls across the entrance. They were with the sheep in the field since in a crowded corral there was a very real possibility that the newborn lambs might be trampled. Lambing season in Palestine occurred around Passover which would make it early springtime.

I don't believe in astrology.
I would like to share this thought with you though... Jesus was an INFJ.

I'm afraid that GordW is making assumptions about Jesus that I prefer not to entertain. My religious views are traditional and, I like to think, respectable.

some also seem to think Jesus was an INFP...his mother Mary is said to have been an INFP (based on what we know of their personalities)...maybe he was a little of both, dpending on the situation?

Isn't Capricornus an old goat expelled in the wilderness with all his wisdom that we didn't wish to know ... that's heis cape a fabrication of lost thought ... all the stuff we didn't wish to know in an emotional dimension ... but nothings perfect!
But then, is that just beyond human capability to get IT all together as outside intellect, data beyond our comprehension unless embed dead with a story like Love a a wipeout of all thought ... the corruption of clear space as defined by Daniel Kuhneman ... Halo Effect?
Perhaps this is why and how this is all overhead, in another dimension you'll have all the time in the whorl'd to think about it as pure dissonance ... that's Eris in an old tongue ... a dark spot to bury intellect (as you are Able) within the same space ... meme according to Dawkins who held a small portion of des ecret NG floe ... phlogiston? F(Log) that captain Pi card ... wouldn't that just blow your mind whatever moðe it was in? Cos for severe dis emmanation ... on the anti Semite question when Semite is a mere sign ... more on that in a separate string ... or Tue! They must be interwoven ... like a flayed out carpet ... something to stand up on ... like a parable?

Thanks for sharing that Kimmio. It is interesting, and I can see that a good argument could be made for Jesus being an INFX. For me, here's what takes him out of the running to be an INFP... "INFP personalities tend to focus on making the world better for other people, and they can become consumed with finding out their purpose in life." While I do believe that Jesus sought his whole life to make life better for others, I also believe that he was fully aware of his life's purpose. I have read i several sources that Mary was most likely INFP.
Now... for those who want to discuss astrology... Jesus, some scholars suggest, was born in the year 6 BCE. Since he was most likely born in the spring, he was born in the Chinese year of Tora.
If astrology were true, Jesus the Tiger would be sensitive, emotional, capable of great love, hot-headed, and stubborn. (Source: http://www.silverdragonstudio.com/dragons/ChineseZodiac.html )

Did Jesus literally know, for his whole life, who he was and what he was destined for? Other than his mother Mary mentioning to him that he was destined for greatness ( just guessing she might have done this, like many mothers do)...growing up in a poor family as he did, in those times, did he know the course his life would take? Or was it a feeling that he had a major purpose, a discovery that unfolded and became more clear as he got older, and as people he encountered got to know him...and he asked "who do you say that I am"? Perhaps it was by their belief in him that affirmed his greatness whereby he was able to begin to lay the foundations of his church?
I'm sure Jesus was about as altruistic as anyone could could ever be, how could he not be?...but he also was able to clearly call a spade a spade...whereas some INFP's might have a hard time being so decisive.
