I just posted my Christmas Eve message with a focus on God's unconditional love. The message will be followed by a soloist singing "I Wonder as I Wander", accompanied by a violinist, and then communion.

Somewhere within me is the strong conviction that God's power resides in unconditional love. To seek the common good in everyone by way of persuasion, rather than force.
And, as your story of the young man's dream illustrates so beautifully, - to be always there to relight our candle when it goes out. No matter how long it takes, God will be there supporting us, with yet another opportunity to see life in a more loving way.
