The preview says it all. It would not be something I would go out of my way to watch. It is dripping with a consevative Christian bias. It might not be as bad as the Left Behind movies with Kirk Cameron but I think it has the same theme.

Here's a  song from the movie by the Newsboys.  You know it was a book made into a movie. There are two videos ( evangelical)  on the book about an hour in length each.  I'm not sure too many people on the WC watch 1 hr. videos,especially of a evangelistic nature. I haven't managed to watch them myself yet so I can't comment on them. It seems that atheism is a theme.

On the other hand the UC has just produced a video and discussion about evangelism within the UC on its new forum United Future.ca . Perhaps this book and  movie is timely in that regard although the theology of many people on the WC  ( and UC?)  may  differ from the videos presented here.( Ah well....variety is the spice of life.)

The UC would like to make a little effort perhaps  towards evangelism but I have a feeling its very afraid of being labelled fundamentalist or being compared to the evangelists on TV so its hands are tied.

If you've got a PS4, someone's coming out with a nifty-looking game called "Everybody's Gone to the Rapture"

There's a movie that I didn't expect to see rapture-mythology in it...called "This is the End".  A few gags that I found funny -- like when one of the cast members gets raptured and one of his unraptured friends tries to go with him by hanging onto him as he rises up...

There is also a PC game called "Left Behind: Eternal Forces" (based on the Left Behind books) where the player plays a Christian group in post-rapture NYC who fights the non-Christians (by trying to convert them -- you can kill, but it lowers your character`s ``spirit level``) and the global world government.  Might be up your alley.

(that movie you linked to looks like it could be a good comedy -- Hercules, Superboy...hope its full of lovely noncynicism...and it looks like another good example of the fruits of humanity -- the internet making it possible for everyone to have their particular spirituality experienced by others)

Since you weren't here the UC has a new forum. Here's the topic about evangelism. You can click on top of the page for more forums and discussions at the left. Its a live video with a chat box as well for participants. It was on last night also at 8 p.m. I missed it. You can participate in the next forum if you register for it. Its one liners on chat  like Twitter while the video is being played on air.
