Emotional pain can do that!
Right now it almost feels like a long, drawn-out CISD process (Crisis Intervention Stress Debriefing). Mainline Christian churches are experiencing trauma right now, and the UCC especially so. While different congregations are at different places, in general it feels like we have gone from the intellectual/facts stage to descending deeper into the emotional stage. Hopefully over the next few years we will crawl out of the emotional stage into the intellectual/strategy and implimentation stage.

Life is tough ... right?
Then there are those that find it easy ... and learn nothing about the bottom line part ...
Like investigation of the rationale of the heart ... they haven't gone that far ...
Does god have anxious thoughts? Can a pure love be blind to thoughts?
