I just remembered the following scene from another vicar flick, "The Vicar of Dibley":

"Will you marry me?" asks a parishoner.

The Vicar of  Dibley, totally flustered because she has secretly admired him, mumbles a red-faced "yes!"

The parishoner keeps on talking, and the vicar realises that he does not want to marry her, but be married by her. She quickly re-gains her composure and says: "Of course I'll marry you!"

Priceless....
