My grandson likes rap. Its blasting away here all the time on the net or TV.
I've almost come to like it myself since my mind is so far gone.....

The problem with using something "trendy" to try to get young people into church (or anything else) is twofold.
Most of the time, whatever you choose to use is already passe for the target audience. These days trends go by so fast (thanks to social media) that you can get whiplash trying to follow them.
And even if you do get something while it's still "hot", most likely it will come across as a quaint, patronizing attempt to attract them and generate more laughs than bums in seats.
If you are going to use rap or anything to promote to young people, for God's sake get young people involved so they can vet it and let you know if it will really fly. There's nothing worse than a young person seeing an ad directed at them that's clearly been made by someone whose days as a youth ended before they were born.

Perhaps the old folks will like it altho' they may be more into hip hop these days . They're also busy doing flash mobs. I love the dame in the wheelchair......

That video was super...wasn't that a party....? No lights...?..I wonder what all goes on ( or off) in the dark? I'm gonna git me a horse and buggy and come back as an Amish in my next life. I go to St. Jacobs -sp- that place near Kitchener.....fantastic eats...O my....! I went to buy a quilt but it was a mere $600. so I changed my mind......I really didn't need it. I gotta google some more weird Al now , you pushed my button.

Speaking about church I think somebody said the UC was dying....?...ain't it awful...? I thought long and hard about it when I came across this. Can we save the UC?
