Anyone have any good religious podcasts to recommend? Could be interviews, sermons, talks, or whatever. I know CBC has podcasts of some of Tapestry's shows, but I wonder what else is out there. And while I prefer progressive/liberal material, I'm not averse to trying out some more conservative stuff if it is well done and thoughtful. Of course, given that I'm UU, there's no requirement that it be Christian.

Mendalla,
Go here.
Scroll to bottom of page, click on the "Point of Inquiry" button, which will enable you to listen to their fine interviews (they remind me of Quirks & Quarks when Jay Ingram was at the wheel) of people of varying beliefs. Of such varied topics, like the continuing Jesus Seminars, to J. J. Altizer to Skepticism, to religious scientists, etc. Fine, heady, and fair discussions.
And they need your support, as well.

Yes - we have a number of members that are able to listen to the meditation weekly and feel a part of the congregation - (with obvious limitations). I gave you the link to the podcast but there are also video blogs as well if you are interested...cms

All Things Considered is the BBC's version of Tapestry.
The Spirit of Things is Australian radio's version.
Sounds True has some terrific interviews with some very big names in progressive religious thought.
Reasonable Doubt is an atheist podcast that is really thoughtful and thought-provoking. It is also very respectful of religious points of view. I just listened to a great interview with Brian McLaren a little while back on Emerging Christianity.
All of these are really, really good.

Homebrewed Christianity looks quite promising. Thanks, James. Most are a bit long for my needs (I listen to podcasts while I exercise and I do 40 minutes) but the people and topics hit some of the bases I'm interested in. Downloaded a couple on process theology to start off.

With Homebrew, you can often skip over the intro, which is often a bit long.
