Request for biblical references

As Republicans campaign to be the one to oppose Obama in the next election, all of the front-runners have publicly emphasized an important foreign policy view. It is that God wants the United States to dominate the world and to rule over it for the next century. It is, they say, God's role and destiny for the United States. (It is already, obviously, the position of Obama, too.)
I wonder if any of our clergy could provide me with biblical references that support this claim.
They would surely be excellent readings for the next service; and even worthy of a sermon. I can picture Jesus expounding it, perhaps in the sermon on the mount. Have to check that.

I was not aware that the US existed when the Book of Revelation was written.

Apparently, t he leading contenders for the GOP think it did.
Read the project for the New American Century. It's on google. The people who wrote it are the ones who have been running the US for the last dozen years. Look at t he names of the people who signed it. It's not a secret.
The New American Century comes from their belief that this is the century for the US to rule the world. The GOP speeches openly say that. and Obama is following that same policy.
The US, led by God, is allowed to invade, drone bomb, massacre wherever it wishes. Other countries are not allowed even to shoot back. That is the daily message in our news. the US has, in the last dozen years, attacked Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Yemen and Somalia - at least those. It is now threatening Syria and Iran.
In that time, the US has spent trillions on war and bailing out corporations. Almost none of its promised aid has reached Haiti - nor will it ever. And while the American people are suffering, the government that gave a trillion to crooked bankers has nothing to spare for them.
Amoral corporations and their political puppets are invoking God as their guide in greed, coveting and murder.
The British Empire was like that, too. It bragged of bringing Jesus and civilization to people even as it killed and exploited them. Read some of Kipling's verses. You can find some of them in old hymn books.

Apparently, the leading contenders for the GOP think it did.
That being the case I don't understand why Romney is having such a difficult time making all others eat his proverbial dust.
Mormonism, more so than Christianity of the most Fundamental kind has a big leg up on tieing scripture directly to the United States.

But I was told by theologians that the bible was timeless Tory ... an institution like sole ...
There alwasy has to be god-like creatures under the logos tree and then some doubt by the other side of the cheek ... the devilish Shadow? Is the infinite satirical about mortal lack of wisdom? Give it time they'll finally expand upon ID ... infinite virtue of patients ... sic peoples eM -- from the temple of Omon!

All we can do is tell stories Graeme ... for it was made immoral, unethical and illegal under Romantic law for man to know anything or even care ... just look around at the leadership given by business and government tyranny ... Wii people don't count even though greatly out numbering the tyrants ... fear appears to take grip ... contrary to biblical teaching? What no conflict with or about the bible?
So Graeme be cautious about explicite truth ... must be covered up in a story as a consequence of over powering passions of mortal dimensions ... ID'll pass ...
In other word:
Man (mortal peoples, as pagan) cannot tell truth ... Gods can't accept that as they are flawed ... must evolve ... in a word!
But criticism does reveal their cracks, like plumb when they get bent all out of shape, cleavage to bust or is that just as their goan ... one should face up to it as grapes of wraith, smack on each cheek! Is that biblical pass 'n?
