Wow. I just might not be religious!

Jusy musing...I don't beleve that evil exists and I dont believe there is such a thing as death...sooo

that pretty much puts me out of the ball park...a lot of ball-parks anyway.

Carpe diem

There's no time like the present

Be Here Now

Extentialize!...and on and on...

The present is a gift...that's why they CALL it a gift

I think my escatology superior to all others: No worries about heaven, evil is misnamed ignorance, no fear about hell - it's always going to be right now. Forever. For you. It's your universe. The kingdom of God IS within you. Thar sounds religious. I think my take is a pleasant possibility. There is in Sufism, Buddaism, Taoism, Hinduism(s), Christianities :-) ---a lot of good stuff I pick at. A religious heathen? Me? An uninformed jerk? A possibility. An 'unbeliever'? I believe...I am a casual cosmic believer. An ontologistic minimalist? (Hey I just invented THAT one) There is only now.The next time someone asks me "have you found Jesus?" I hope to answer, "Yes! I found to him to be a great teacher.") Eventually you all will achieve Godishness, but we have to work on getting God-toys. (Gad, I'm begining to sound like  Waterboy (whom I might read someday) --Everything that is important and significant is right this moment. S0.......uh......it's a great existance and...uh...Hi! (That's as profound as I get. sorry.)

You have superior scatology?  I think your eschatological studies may have led you down the dumper of history.

No one pushed me into proper spelling-land, unfortunately.

And the more history I read the dumper I get.

If that's the case we best start digging, and fast! We've got millions of people falsely imprisoned and buried alive in graveyards everywhere...

If not religious, then what?

Spiritual but not religious?

Welcome to the Immoral Majority!

Oh, no.

I'm starting to think that I may not be religious, either.

Ah, the freedom of the unfixed ... a boul have'n a dump?

There is nothing more fecund for drawing intellect than a good mistake that doesn't cause you to be dead or stupidly in denial of what you have done. Consider the Celts were partly derived from Scandinavian stock ... in their language "skett" is rein deire poo ... enough to start a nation of free0thinkers to the north of the English spin on Roman docterine ... and rase the ire of the Eire'sh ... an emotional reaction to overbearing sorts? Does oppression cause outbursts of crap unknown to the higher tiers of boul, or Ba'aL? In Freudian theory I don't thik we have seen anything yet ... like T Wood's father asking: "My son did you learn anything out there?" Is that prodigal continuance of the story, or what? The higher the bull the harder the fall ...

Bachelor of Science (observation) --- BS; boul shiite?

Master of Science -----------------------  MS; more of the same!

Doctoring in philosophie --------------PHD; piled higher and deeper

These can all be reconciled by some active thinking, presently illegal under Roman religious persuasion. Something has to come un-hinged ... duh BOX da cat's in? IT's a real sleeper until wakened!

Nope. No one has died, in THEIR unuiverse, they just did in yours. They exist in an alternative universe.

It's consciousness that is immortal. (A lot of religions believe in THAT).....and it needs a material body to exist (at least for the next few thousand years...)

Whatever you die of here....there is an alternative in which you did not...and so...THERE you are!

Welcome to the Immoral Majority!

Thanks. Not even spiritual, (I don't think of my self as spiritual...at best; intelligently curious.and most times not at my best.

My posit  completely eliminates any  fear of death, which relief, enhances curiosity: that is, to have life and live it more abundently.

To look at something very differently: to think that ALWAYS the kingdom of God is 'at hand'.

(I love my bible ) :-)

Why does eternal life have to include ancient ideas about heaven and hell, when you can enbrace the fringes of quantum mechanical phiosophy?

Here's the big fat superiority:

When reading Thomas Aquinas you often say "I must remember that. That is wonderful!"

When reading about Quantum Mechanics you often say "That is wonderful! I don't have to remember that - the equasion is four feet long! :-)

There is a cavieat about discussing non-death with a 82 year old...there is always a suspicion of personal bias :-)

True in all religions though...

In mine though there is nothing negative (no hell) and perfect freedom (it's your universe) --

--and who knows? Perhaps in a thousand years or so I'll be ABLE to "Do the math"

I have a hard time THINKING about an infinite number of infinite things creating an infinite number of universes...but hey...God probably has no trouble with that kind of math...

Nice almost communicating with you.

Ok, so there's a history dumper. They are called historians. (They are currently dumping on Thucydides )

Eschatology , in addition to being hard to spell, is, according to my posit, impossible. There IS no 'end'.

(Was there a begining? Where or what were we 13.5 billion years ago? Saved if I know...)

No kidding, eh?

"Are you religious?"  Click. "Not now...what have you got in mind?"

(Good thing that 'religious ' thiing has an on-off switch, eh? Makes the question really easy..)

Not really sure if that would be a good thing. Rampent carelessness, "So I fall off the bridge, so?"

and crime:" Don't worry,  I'm only going to kill you in THIS universe...

Gonna need a lot of realzation to really enjoy the life you are currently having --uh---uncriminalisticly.

SOOOooooo. Instead of starting a world-wide church that would make me a gaziullionaire, I'll have to start a secret society. In which no one can pass the enterance exam...(members would want to shoot me in the initiating ritual)...

HEY everybody: Forget what I said!!!!

Harry Potter, I take it. MY conjecture is FAR more magical.

Just a few hundred years from now you'll remember this, and agree. A pleasent thought, eh?
