apple and cheese

No pie for me today. Had Japanese (sushi, tempura, etc.) for dinner.

Favourite pie. My mom's apple pie (only hers is best). Rhubarb is a close second.

No pie for me today.  Strawbery rhubarb would be one of my favourites, although it's hard to pick just one.

Nothing wrong with nerds. That's cute. Happy Pi Day! It's still early here...sun's just going down...the store's not far...hmmm...

I'm German. We don't eat pie, we eat streusel cake.

But I didn't eat that, either. I celebrated pi Day by contemplating why pi never evens out.

pi never evens out because space is spherical. The sphere is the only geometric form in the universe. A sphere can't be linearized.

Infinitesimally small spheres do, of course, make points. And points make lines, and lines make any angular geometry. But these are abstractions. The only naturally occurring geometric form in the universe is the sphere.

And all those spheres are images of the one spherical singularity which is God.

Next year it'll be 3-14-15

I regularly eat and have learned to appreciate humble pie.

I like apple, but prefer it warm and served with vanilla ice cream. Maybe we could compromise... apple with cheesecake ice cream?

I disagree cousin. Your mom's can be second-best. My mom's is best.

On my mom's farm wild rhubarb grows. It surely does cook into a lovely rhubarb pie.

Yes, it sure tastes great chemgal. Sadly I can't eat too many strawberries.

Never heard of "Pi Day" LOL!

No pie for me on Pi Day.  No pie for me for a long time.

But, my favorite pie is banana cream pie.

I also like apple pie, cherry pie, and flapper pie.  Pumpkin pie is good and so is chocolate pie.

They're also tangy and tasty.

Mmm... various cream pies *drool*
