Pinga admitted in the Thank You thread to not being an Arrogant Worms fan. Which I, personally, find simply unthinkable. There is no greater sin, really. So, in an effort to fix that, I offer the following examples of sheer brilliance:

Sigh. I missed the preview button. And, obviously, one can't simply paste in the embed code from Youtube.

lol, RevMatt.
I did read and watch a bunch of Arrogant Worms last night....and read some information on their site.
I know my not being a fan could be taken the wrong way, so let me clarify -- I've had very little exposure. I did laugh a bunch last night...and hit a bunch of links..
(I really liked the everquest you-tube versions, will be interesting to see if you posted them)

Here is what they said about ..Ontario sucks.

They are by Three Dead Trolls in a Baggie. You should look them up at www.deadtroll.com

Doh, I even knew that, Pinga, and I still screwed it up. Thanks for sorting it out. The two groups have very similar senses of humour, and sound.
Youtube shows that they have sung the War of 1812, with the lead singer of TDTiaB, however :)

Yeah - the 3 Dead Trolls have managed a lot of fame from being connected with the Worms. But the War of 1812 is an absolute RIOT!!! We love it so much that we had to teach our kids not to sing it to enthusiastically, and why some people might think that firebombing is bad (ha!! lol)
You can count on me Matt.

Yeah, I was going to mention that the Arrogant Worms never sang "Ontario Sucks"...they are from Ontario, after all.
I really do like "The War of 1812" despite it not being part of the Worms' repertoire.
"And the White House burned, burned, burned / But the Americans won't admit it..." ha ha ha...

My personal favourite Worms song is The Last Saskatchewan Pirate. Here's a great video that a youth group made to go with the song!

We put it on this afternoon and were giggling about Celine Dion & Rippy the Gator. (I love ME LIKE HOCKEY, but have a strong sense that using the particular drumbeat music style smacks of racism... ugh)

I was on the Worms site today looking at Ontario concert dates and they are coming to the Ottawa Folk Festival in August. They must put on a fun live show! Has anyone ever seen them in concert?

Friends of ours go every chance they can get. They take their boys now too.

kappa, that was so much fun. The youth group looked like they were mostly boys.

Hi pommum....I've seen the Arrogant Worms 4 times and that's not nearly enough. Their live show is fabulous!

Hi folks
maybe a suitable wondercafe gathering in Ottawa may be at the arrogant worms concert?
I have had fun listening to them all, and am watching again the 1812 one by the other group in preparation for my trip to milwaukee on monday.

Man this takes me back. I still haven't caught the Worms in concert, but I remember seeing 3 dead trolls years ago. Ahhh memories.

I have been to several Worms concerts and have their albums - they are Canadian culture at its absolute best! Kappa I was just about to post that exact same link to the Last SK Pirate! It's a toss up for me between that and Jesus' brother bob.
I've also been to a 3 dead trolls in a baggie performance back in university.
And TPOH... well... they just don't make music like that anymore do they? Truly the soundtrack of my youth.

I cannot believe that Pinga does not like the Arrogant Worms! Please say it ain't so! I do think you need to see them in person. You will be converted! They came here, and I left the concert with sore cheeks and sides from laughing so much. Of course, they are also excellent muscians as well as comedians.
I love the line that Northern Ontario is 80 billion miles long, with 23 people who live there, all named Frank.....even the girl. And she is very popular!
Then there is Buddy Wassisname and the Other Fellers.......also good to see in person. Both are required music for a cross-Canada trip..... note to self, check i-Tunes for new albums.

Good Morning all. Suppose to be getting ready for church but instead, sat here and watched the Worms for half hour. They do make time fly.
