aaahhh the term "bucket list" is fast becoming a cliche. But ANYWAY... here is mine.
Learn to wield a sword
Take a guided horseback expedition into a fly fishing lake. (and fish and horseback ride while there of course)
Take a trip on a tall ship, while learning how to sail one.
Tour Great Britian, with a special interest in the ancient and medival histories. Also check out the little roadside taverns if there are any left.

That's a really good list. Interesting stuff. The sword is especially cool.
I'll have to think about mine.

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm......
mine would have to be..........(it may change over time but here it is)
-visit every country at least once
-learn more languages
-write a book
-spend over a day in each province/territory
-meet the Dali Lama in person
I'll probably have more closer to the time I "kick the bucket" (as if there is a specific time I'll "kick the bucket" and it wont just happen in a minute from now or tomorrow or in a year ~_^) anyways, that's my list for now, I hope I'l get at least one done >_<

I was just having this conversation with a friend today!
My list is pretty modest.
See more of Canada, starting with the East coast (I was in BC several years ago).
Become a fibre artist.
Write a collection of short stories.
Ride a bicycle again.
Maybe start a small business.

Ninjafaery, when you come out east I'll take you to the beach if you like. What is a fibre artist?
My list
There is probably more but it is past my bed time.

Trishcuit, I'd do all those things with you. The roadside taverns are still there, but they're awful smokey.
Ninjafairy, I love fibre arts! Start by buying some fleece and a drop spindle, then take out dying books from the library. I joined the local spinners and weavers guild to start. Endless possibilities!
Here's my list:
Learn to fly something (a glider, hang glider or ultralight)
Learn Anglo-Saxon and Swedish
Take my son to Germany
Spend a bunch of years living in England again
put together a comemorative cd or book to give to the mourners at my funeral.

Clean my closet.
That too!
Somegirl -- A fibre artist makes those funky, artistic quilts you mentioned! I'd like to play with fabric media full time -- learn to make felt, do sculptures, dolls, strange clothing, wall-hangings -- just go nuts.....
And of course I'd love to meet up with you when I'm in NS and Cape Breton. I also have some relatives out there. I'd like to fly out and rent a car there.
Elanorgold -- Love all of that! I used to do a fair bit of hand-weaving and spinning. Also made natural dyes and baskets etc. I'd love to spend my time doing all that.....

Do these have to be possibilities or just things that you would like?
I would like to see well without glasses - to have 20/20 vision for awhile just to find out what it is like, maybe to be able to enjoy it for a few years. Wow!

trishcuit, I forgot, I would love to have a horse. Two really, a sport horse to complete my goal of competing in a one day event and an Andulsian because they are so beautiful. I'd like a bay one just to be different, maybe with a Spanish cowboy to go with it....hmmmm

lead a church plant (start a new congregation)
work as a professional actor (ie get paid!)

Now that's interesting. Let's see...
~ go to Canada
~ learn archery
~ visit a haunted mansion/castle
~ visit Greenland (it's a strange choice I know)
~ publish at least one book
~ have a dog - either white german shepherd or Canaan
I'll have to think more about the rest.

Oh, I'm not waiting until I'm on the way out, but may have to wait for retiremen t. However, if I knew I was dying and had to prioritize what to get done before I croaked, then my "Bucket List" would define those priorities.

I have already done everything I want to do:
1. Dip my big toe in the Pacific and Atlantic Ocean.
2. See Niagara Falls (actually wanted to go down the falls in barrel but the idea of not breathing for about 30 minutes was not so appealing)
3. Go to the Flintstone Park in British Columbia
4. Go to the Laura Ingalls museum in Wisconsin
5. Stand on the top floor of the Empire State Building
6. Go scuba diving in Hawaii
7. Shake Mickey Mouse's hand
Seriously there is nothing else that I want to do.

She_devil. I'm very relieved you didn't try the barrel over the falls in a bucket. I'm sure Ripley's believe it or Not would have loved to display your mangled body for all their visitors, but it would have been icky. Plus, we'd miss your little red she_devil. I think that is one idea best left to imagination!! :)
Laura Ingalls- now, that would be fun. I've read a few 'extra' books about her and poetry by her and so on - very inspiring woman.

Flintstones....aaahhh 40-Foot Fred just outside Kelowna. Is that the one you refer to? It's no longer there. But I vaguely remember going there as a child.

I want to love at least one man before I die. I know it sounds absurd, but I have never been in love with a man. I want to know what it feels like. I love God but he is more than a man, He is God, so that doesn't count. I want to love with a blind heart. I want to open myself so completely and fully that I can love with no boundaries. Sure, there is room for hurt and disappointment, but love can transcend all earthly limits. I want to know that kind of love. I want to feel that kind of love. (sigh)

1. Zip lining
2. White water rafting
3. Going to the maritimes
4. Learning to drive a motorcycle
5. Taking the train through the mountains to B.C. again
6. Camping in many different places in Canada and swimming
in as many lakes as possible.
7. Canoeing again
8. Having a little cottage on a lake
9. Learning to drive a boat
10. Finding someone special to share my life with
