See what's happening around the world - http://www.earthhour.org/live
I saw a note in the paper that one of our local United Churches is having a candlelight organ recital.

Doing my usual lights out and power down for an hour or so. The airtight stove will be lit, so enough light from it....cosy.

We're having a Sunday School sleepover at the church, so that hour will be dedicated to flashlight hide-and-seek! Can't wait!

Hi Corolla:
Yes, snow banks are still very high although yesterday's rain resulted in more bare ground.
My garden and flower beds are under 3 feet of snow....but I'm hopeful.

We left one light on in the office so that the kids who didn't want to play could hang out in there. It was also a good way to have a set gathering place. Very good fun!

It was 8:30 pm? That would have been quite dangerous for us to turn off the lights for the entire hour. Quite a bit of blowing snow on sections of the highway.

No worries Sterton - you can have your own celebration tonight :-)
