Thank you for all the kind wishes. This is the birthday that I didn't want to come. It is time to fess up. Today I am 70.I posted on facebook that I went to bed being middleaged and woke up this morning old.
This is the birthday that I worried about because I don't want to be old. I don't want to be the curmudgeon in the church that yells at kids and wants everything the same. I don't want to be backward thinking.
Sooooooooo................if you see it happening - swat me upside the head. I need you to keep me young.

you know, this means you were 19 when you got married. My inlaws did it backwards - my motherinlaw was forbidden to marry until she was 20,. She turned 20 on Nov 12, and got married 4 days later. Her mom was mad!
