Many have been wondering why the big white space next to avatar in our post. Are we suppose to paint a picture?

Yes, we're looking into it...I think it may be a problem related to the Paint Your Faith gallery that is being developed behind the scenes. Hopefully it will be resolved soon. But for now, enjoy the white space!

looks like a template problem.
If you look at the Original post in the thread the main text area cell is margined further to the right than the text area cell in the replies, which extends left into the area occupied by the profile cell. Therefore the text area cell in the replies conflicts with the width of the profile cell and causes a wrap.
I suspect

Well, now. Even computer techno geeks have their euphemistic pick up lines. Hmmm?
Let me guess. Next you'll be asking to check under Aaron's hood. Hmmm? Just a quick look at his engine. Hmmm?
Let us know if his pistons are all firing. Hmmm?

I thought it was the Holy Spirit?
I can see Him now.... He appears...white...in robes of....white. In the background there is....more white.
He's talking now! At least, I hear a noise. My best description of the noise is that it is.....white. Yes, definitely white noise.

Hi Folks,
If you get a chance could you please post the type of operating system (Windows, Mac, Linux) and which browser (Internet Explorer, FireFox, Safari, etc.) you experience this formatting issue in. If you don't want to post this info, you can WonderMail me with it.
Thanks!

I've had it in Windows XP w. IE7, and both Windows XP and 7 w. IE8. Haven't checked the machine at home that has Firefox, but I will.

It seems to be pretty much any platform, any browser. ALthough nobody has mentioned Chrome yet.
SPeaking of which has anyone tried that browser out? What did ya think?

Chrome messed me up - I can't even remember what it was but it was important enough for me to go back to using IE. I do remember there were somethings I liked.
Sigh, this day has been too long and I still have to go take minutes for an EB meeting.
For Admin, IE8 with XP Pro

I'm amazed and all you people who know what kind of a computer program you are using. Me - its a screen, with a keyboard, and a big rectangular upright box under the table with a green light when its on. When I press the right series of buttons I get the WonderCafe. (I also know how to find Solitare)

As computers become more and more of a commodity item in line with other electronics and appliances, the goal is, of course, to make the use of them more transparent to the user. If you're able to use WC and other websites without knowing any of the guts, that's means progress is being made. On the other hand, computers are still finicky and stupid enough to keep guys like me working for a few years yet .
