I am a big Canucks and have been ever since I was a young kid growing up in Vancouver. I think it probably started with the 1982 run to the finals. I remember being fascinated by the yellow men on my television - back then their uniforms were a hideous yellow colour. They have never actually won the cup, so hopefully this will be their year!
This season has been their best season by far. They won their first ever President's Cup for top team in the regular season despite injuries - the last game of the season was the first one in which they were able to dress all of their top 6 defencemen. They have excellent goalies and the number one scorers in the league for the past two seasons.
Ideally I'd like to see Vancouver play Montreal in the finals.

Hi somegalfromcan,
The NHL Playoffs start tomorrow - do you care? If so, who are you cheering for and why?
I'm a Habs fan.
I like play-off hockey because it is real hockey. I'm afraid the 92-93 season (the 24th Stanley Cup Championship) spoiled me. 10 consecutive overtime victories including three overtime victories in a five game final make things boring afterwards.
Grace and peace to you.
John

3rd period game 5. Canucks vs Chicago. Nucks are losing 5-0. The testosterone level borne of frustration is going to go through the roof soon and I am expecting fisticuffs.

Brutal game to be a Canucks fan. Hopefully Saturday will be better!
