Clean out my office and complete other preparations for the new minister; complete preparations for a family reunion July 4-6 in Sorrento, BC; complete preparations for canoe trip June 29 to July 2 with wife, daughter and her fiance; finish planting my garden; work on my mother's garden; continue job search; a few other odds and ends.

Actually, this is the worst time of year to do that. I would normally suggest September or October, when the nights get cool.
I expect all of you to sweat inside at your computers or be on WC2 on your phones and devices all summer. No exceptions!

-plant my tomato, cucumber, squash, and pumpkin transplants into the garden (lots of heritage types this year: Russian black tomatoes, red pumpkins, pineapple tomatoes, lemon cucumbers)
-finish off the school year: mark three sets of exams and final assignments in the space of 7 days
-go strawberry picking, and pick at least 15 litres of strawberries (most of that to freeze for jam and fruit crumbles all winter long) (Although with spring so late in ON this year, I'm thinking the strawberries won't be ready until July)
-finish reading Unwind. (a surprisingly good novel for a new perspective on "right to life' movement. In this book, teens between 13-18 years old who do not meet up to society expectations are "unwound" - the government harvests their organs and limbs to give to others. Teens scheduled to be unwound might be juvenile diliquents, or do poorly in school, or be the 10th child in an already too big family. )
-enjoy and celebrate Wondercafe in this our last month together (since WC is scheduled to be unwound)
