I just came across this little gem. Someone has created an interactive flash where you can slide between size scales, all the way from the very smallest (Planck Length) all the way to the very largest (size of universe).
And it has wonderful music to boot! So put on your headphones and
mainline the wonder: http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/525347

Look at the largest earthworm in the World.
See how small we are in comparison to our Sun...and then see how small our Sun is compared to even larger stars...there is one that is almost as large as our solar system...
At the same time we are both insignificant, less than a speck on a speck on a speck, livng in an unimportant area of universe, and we are very important, because here we are, aware, able to act intentionally on all of Creation. For perhaps the first time in Creation's existence. I find this both humbling and exhilarating, a gift to not waste :3
Just a Self-writing poem,
