Gasp!  You opened it already???  But it's only December 1st!!

If I remember correctly last year everyone opened their gifts as they arrived to thank the sender for sending it, and explain what was inside. Does everyone want to continue in that manner ... or should we wait until a certain date to open them?

I say do the same as last year!!!  Open it and tell us what it is and who it's from!!!

(But then, I'm kinda nosy...)

I received a necklace ... a silver chain with a delicate crystal and silver cross. My husband describes it as elegant. It was beautifully wrapped and then placed in a gold fabric gift bag.The card wished us all a Merry Christmas and had a special hi from Charlie to the poms.

My gift arrived today.  It was from PastryChef Deb - and no, it wasn't pastry.  It was a beautiful little trinket box with a cover and inside, wrapped and rewrapped in tissue, until Mr. Seeler asked me if I was sure there was a gift in all that paper, I found a pewter guardian angel with the advice to 'never drive faster than your guardian angel can fly'.  Good advice for anyone.   I can just imagine her flapping her little wings as I race off down the highway.

I've purchased my gift to send, but I have to check to see if it is suitable before I send it out.  It should be in the mail by Monday.

Mine was in the mail today and canada Post assured CrazyDad it would arrive in 8 working days.

Mine should be sent off in the mail tomorrow.  Didn't have it ready before 5 p.m., so didn't make it today.  Just hope Canada Post is gentle with it.

 You guys are ahead of me!  I've been looking, but haven't figured out my gift yet.

I've figured out my gift -- but between homework, being sick, and other commitments, I'm extremely far behind this year.  I have other presents to mail, too -- I hope they all reach their destinations by Christmas... (Which is questionable for most of them...)

Still looking.  It was pouring down rain today and I forgot that I had an appointment to give blood so I didn't get to the market.  I'll go tomorrow and hopefully find something that jumps right out at me.  The part of the gift from my stepmother arrived.  Really hoping to have it in the mail by wednesday.  I did get almost all my other Christmas shopping done though.  Back to the sofa to moan about being weak from giving the gift of life.

Bought my gift today. Now to get it in the mail.

I have the gift and the packing material, just need to write a note and send it off.  For sure it will be on its way by Friday. 

I'm beginning to feel like a slacker!  I have Friday off though.  I'll take care of the rest then.  God willing.

Its gone.  I dropped in to the post office this afternoon.  (If you are going to the post office this time of year, wear comfortable shoes and take some light reading material - you are going to stand in line.)

Secret Santa gift has been decided, but I haven't gotten around to wrapping and mailing it yet.  Still wondering is I can find anything else to accompany it, oh, and I need a card.

I got a thing from the post office that I have a package.  It is coming up on my birthday so it might not be that.  I'm going over to get it and mail my gift tomorrow evening.

Did no one get a gift yesterday, friday?  They will probably all come this week!

My parcel at the post office was not my secret santa gift but still a wonderful surprise.  While I was there I mailed my secret santa gift.  It is now officially on it's way.  They assured me that it will be there in time for Christmas.

Hooray hooray! My present came today! What a wonderful surprise from Olivet_Sarah. A lovely greeting card featuring a nativity scene and quote from Isaiah "For unto us a child is born. Unto us a son is given..."

The joy continued as I opened the box the card came with to find it full of... paper. Paper upon paper upon paper. And right in the middle a beautiful glass Christmas tree ornament. Red silk, with gold trimmings and a really neat historic picture of Father Christmas on it.

Thank you so much Olivet_Sarah. What a great gift. I will hang it right on my Christmas tree and remember your kindness for years to come.

My secret santa gift arrived on Friday.  I was very excited to open it.  Thank you so much Redbaron!!  A really funny Christmas card with a kind message, and a neat ornament with Snoopy hugging Woodstock and the words "Happiness is a little hug".  A very thoughtful and fun card and gift.  Much appreciated and already sitting out on a table in my living-room.

My gift arrived from Musicsooths.  It is a wine glass decoration with a sign on the side under Santa's hat - "Wine a little you'll feel better."

I think I will be taking it off the tree to sip a little real wine, maybe New Year's Eve.

I'm so glad to hear people have been getting their gifts! If my counting is correct 6/25 have recieved their so far. Hopefully the rest of them are wisking their way through Canada Post in the next couple weeks! I'm excited to get mine and hear that mine has been recieved!
