Pinga, did you see the avatar like you are using. The church is at the top and the minister or someone is kicking out all the people. i have it but don't know how to show it to you.

no, but that would be a great one....
get out of the building & start to do peace.
if you add it to your photo album on this site, you can then post a link to it here.

What nice avatars!
Mine is a picture of the Peace River between Hudsons Hope, BC and Fort St. John, BC. It is one of the loveliest drives you can imagine.
This is the entire picture:
It says "Peace", though that is hard to tell on the avatar.

I hope this works. It's a pic of the original I took in the Tate museum in Liverpool

Yours even fits the halloween colour theme BethanyK! (Do they celebrate Halloween in Britian? )
Pinga

I think it is Guy Fawkes night they celebrate...but will be interesting if that has shifted.

They celebrate Halloween but on a much smaller scale I didn't see more than a pumpkin infront of a house and then it was only every other house or so. Bonfire night (or Guy Fawkes night) is on the 5th of November so I'll let you know how that turns out

So many cool ideas in these avatars! CH I do love yours - the chain reminds me of a belly dancer's 'belt' with all the dangly bits!
Beloved you're being particulary artistic! Many variations on your original daisies - me, I've just gone browsing around the web looking for new pics! My was titled 'peace hands' .
Northwind's postcard of tranquility & peace ... lovely.
And P3's mandella series is pretty cool!
Inana - are you writing a poem to go with?
Pinga - lovely too!

I found an awesome t-shirt in my search....... it said 'the perfect world' - 'peace' (peace sign),' love' (heart) and 'Pomeranians' (pom)........ really cute, but I couldn't copy it - me bad !!!
Love to get some for Christmas presents but they are from the UK and a bit expensive to order . It would look really cute on granddolly!

For Carolla,
(from the Top)
"We, the angels, are sorry for the inconvenience
Mankind, you see our Trumps have stilled,
Our wanton beast has been satiated (sorry, Canada),
Our cherubs fattened on agape (sorry, Persia)
We leave you with some parting gifts:
The ability to speak one language (sorry, Esperanto)
The ability to be polymorphously perverse,
and, as a gift from Jesus/Loki hisself,
Lucifer's hand, everburning, in Sudbury, Ontario.
Bless you. We're off to Create another Universe. Come visit some
Time."
Just a Self-writing poem,
Inannawhimsey
