Personally, I was thrilled to have rain on the weekend - it's been very, very dry lately & my garden is struggling.  I ran outside Sat morning to dig my garden a bit so it would be prepared to receive the gift from above - and then we were treated to good steady rains for most of Sat night & Sunday.  I could almost hear the plants sighing with relief.

What I found fascinating, and you can't see with the naked eye, is the reflection of the trees in the raindrops, it looks like miniature worlds - which of course sends me off into flights of fancy!

Actually I could see the reflection of the trees. Amazing photos. I wonder if I would be able to make one appear as my desktop picture?

Thanks for reminding me to look a little closer in order to see another world we often miss.

We had rain over here in BC on sunday too, and thank Heavens (pun), as it washed all the smoke out of the air. We can breathe free again!
