brown . . . I can't even see my grass - and probably won't for at least another 3 or weeks - it is still covered in 4 feet of snow and more is falling as we speak!

I believe that Witch was very unhappy about the origins of St. Patrick's day. Does anyone remember the story behind his dislike?

noting that the colour green doesn't actually occur somewhere 'out there' but is, rather, what happens when a certain wavelength light interacts with a nervous system with a particular makeup which as the result of a complicated process and interactions comes up with 'green'...

Inanna I always have to get the dictionary out when you post ! Very interesting.
I guess witch won't be posting anything green on this forum then, crazyheart . . . but I'm sure he must have a list of green plants though.

Depends where you're looking here :) We've had a nice warm stretch. I'm hearing that April is going to cool down again and it wouldn't be shocking to get some more snow.
To elaborate on IW's response, I was thinking 570 nm. Wikipedia says 520-570 nm is green, so I was fairly close.
