Greetings All Who Are "In" for the Virtual Santa Christmas Blessings Exchange!

I thought we could have do something a little different for the Virtual Santa . . .

I thought we give our present receivers a "basket of goodies" . . . seeing as how it is virutal, the sky is the limit in size and in dollars.

The basket should contain:

1.  a trinket or gift that is in your person's favorite colour (check out the favorite colour thread in Social).

2. a book you think your person would like to read.

3.  tickets to a play or concert you think your person would like to attend.

4.  an all expenses paid vacation for a week for your person and a guest of theirs somewhere in the world you think they would love to visit.

5.  no Christmas basket is complete without a Christmas CD - pick a special one you think your person would really enjoy.

Your 5 gifts to your person are wrapped up in a basket of Hope, Peace, Joy, and Love, and tied up with a ribbon that contains a special "wish" or "blessing for your person's life this coming year.

Have fun, and enjoy.  Wondermail your gift basket to your person by before Sunday, December 22nd.

After Sunday, December 22nd, we can come back and report on this thread that we have received our gift, and give thanks.  If you want, you can share who your secret Virtual Santa was and describe your basket (purely optional).

I will Wondermail you with the name of your Virtual Santa Gift person.

I'm like carolla, I'm still thinking and researching . . . I won't have mine ready for a week or so.

I just finished mine! I sent a bunch of wonder mails - one for each item in the basket. My recipient can do as he or she wishes with them - open them one at a time, or all at once. I had fun putting it together, and imagining my recipient enjoying each item.

Pinga - before posting a wondermail, I'd check with the person who sent it. Whoever gets my mail is welcome to post it.

Started sending mine secret santa their gifts, one gift each day......it was fun, and was a great distraction to come up for ideas for this special person

oddly enough, I sent mine a week ago, and narry a peep from the recipient .... so I'm hoping it arrived.  

So far, my experience is the same Carolla.

But it's no Christmas yet, and the gift I sent may not have been appropriate. It's no big deal.

Are people getting the Virtual thread (this one) mixed up with the Secret Santa thread(not this one.)

I thnk Mike is - he better pop over to the secret santa thread and check it out :).
