Well happy Birthday to evryone on Wondercafe. We have survived five years, even if a few eggs have been cracked in the process.

Remember this? The WonderCafe prayer banner that went to General Council 40 (2009). Thanks to everyone who worked on it!

I can't believe it. I was already old when this site was born.
somebody tell young Aaron that I'm still trying ot figure out how to download the e book he sent me. The directions at the site are unintelligible.
Five years old. At that age I had already been working a year in the coal mine. Actually, the UC minister who baptized me worked in the Welsh coal mines from childhood. He learned to read during work breaks when the miners would rest a bit, and take turns reading aloud from The Bible. What he learned down in the mines is what got him into theological school to become one of the most Christian men I have ever met. I got to know him in his age. Quite a wonderful man. His name was Gammel (I think) Craik.
