Always feel badly about biting the bunny's ears off, so doing without the sugar and enjoying the spiritual high is a much better choice...

Thanks Aaron for posting.
So.....is wondercafe, and church an important part of Easter for you?
Do you think people care about stuff other than chocolate and dressing up?
thoughts?

People dress up for Easter? I've never noticed it. I don't think I ever did.

Kimmio - I've found that the older women in my congregation tend to be the ones who get really fancy. There's nothing quite like an Easter bonnet!

Wow. Well, maybe it's because I didn't grow up going to church. I didn't notice it last year at mine, and didn't notice it around town. Interesting. I might have worn pastel colours as a kid...maybe bunny ears for fun. I can't remember. I really don't remember any adults dressing up a particular way. I don't think I'll be wearing an Easter bonnet anytime soon.

But it could be fun to wear something like this to church!

I think the Easter bonnet thing has largely died out, now, save for older folks and people having some fun with the notion. Hasn't it?
As for the other Easter traditions, I don't really observe any of them anymore save for going to church (and even that I'm not sure about this year). It's become a time to meditate on renewal and rebirth and spring in a broader context rather than focussed on the religious and cultural traditions specific to Easter.
Love that poster. What would a chocolate WonderCafe look like? Maybe a big mug of steaming hot cocoa or a mocha latte or something.
