Sometimes it gets a little heavy in the forums with clashes between believers and non-believers, fundamentalists and progressives, the intelligent and the ignorant. So, I spent a few hours building this little oasis. There's a couple of comfy sofas, three or four leather recliners, a 60" flat-screen plasma tv, coffee tables and ottomans. You'll notice the large collection of DV D's and CD's, the library, the fully-stocked bar in the corner with four bar-stools and plates of pretzels, chips, nuts and fruit. You can even smoke if you want. The best part is, the door is locked and only members can get in. Outside the door is a vicious attack rabbit that'll gnaw any believers ankles to the bone if they try to gain access. I'm the one in the corner with a glass of red wine, but try not to make too much noise. Sometimes I like to nap.

...much of our language has been hijacked and infused with religious terminology. It always is quite the conundrum when someone sneezes.
Atheist sanctuary. I like it.
I just joined and discovered this site: I cannot imagine why a true atheist would want anything to do with a 'sanctus' such as a 'sanct'- uary!!!
