What did the TV do to socialized imagination? We get so focussed today that we cannot see the surrounding effects! Is that environmental irony? I could go on and on with chitty examples.

I believe we are moving so fast and so busy we dont know if one minute we are coming or the next we are going ...no time to form real relationships...not much time to be alone to get to know oneself...and especially no time to know God ....for knowing  God does not only take faith but it takes time...its almost like people are in such a rush because they are scared of running out of time and then what ....???

Not to much will happen when the times up ....I am grateful to know a God of Eternity this way I can take my time through this life ...getting my heart full of Love Joy and Healing ...amen amen amen...

When we are lying waiting for God to take us Home are you going to say ...I should of worked more...I should of had more time for my phone calls. I should of spent more time watching tv and videos....no I believe I will say ...who did I love who loved me and what difference did I make in this world and I will have made one Being a Child of God....

Pro and cons, good and bad, every new technology seems to bring new problems, a lot of new technology is just recycled older technology, good for business, not good for the environment or our pockets.

Technology includes all new things invented and manufactured ?

It is changing society, yes, positive and negative.

Not all technologies have the same impact.

Examples: electronic media like computers makes communication faster and easier for instance here i sit and write and you will get my half baked response in seconds! It can safe businesses lots of money, on the other hand it does not seem to save paper...suffer trees, suffer environment...

But people can waste hours and hours playing games or reading silly stuff on this same computer in stead of doing their work, connecting to their friends and family etcSome people even get addicted to Blogs (me?) and will spend a bit too much time here...debatable, i love connecting to hearts and spirits...i need them and they need me...good and bad then, this is the computer...the context of the use of technology...determines the positive or negative effects.

Cell phones: makes communication very easy, but not good if you are driving your vehicle as well...I see people every day not concentrating on the road!

Hybrid vehicles -safes fuel? Very expensive technology with a huge carbon footprintI'm told! just a fad? Hydrogen fuel cell, solar energy, wind energy - good stuff... Medical technology -saves lifes

I come from a water treatment background in which the waste from one process becomes a treasure to another ... but business pressure screws some things up ... like a phoqah up in he'ven .. a bump in thought .. or loe venue?

Consider this: neu-clear power is frowned upon by the powers that are backed by the oil industry (bo'sh phonetics?). Some understanding of old linguistics are required here! Ask meis! We in Canada and elsewhere are affected by a loss of medical neucleotides and a screwup in the Canadaian neuclear industry ... how many know that neu-clear waste provides such products? If only the right hand knew what the left hand was dewing ... prehensile existance?

I've sat in on discussions where people fought against certain development where a process would toxify the surroundings where the technology would allow us to clean up wastewater to a point better than the water supply. The problem is ... we are too interested in profit margins (even as a church) ... that what is good for the paradigm ... the population ... demos? Business is more important than people ... and yet what does business serve? Do people serve business in the error?

Neuclar process is the rheum of the future but must be used with great intelligence and care ... humans have littel of either extreme! Ain't that the chi-ites? Fecund materr for thought in the process of mind over matter ... Hei hee!
