Located in Thorndale, Ontario - between St. Marys and London. We are a vibrant, active church that ministers to Thorndale and surrounding area.  We have an exciting youth program whose purpose is to teach children about God's Son, His world and their important place in it.

We also have on-going bible studies and discussion groups, a praise choir and an active United Church Women (UCW) group.  Although most of our worship is traditional, occasionally we become very creative with how we express our love for our Lord.  We are an affirming congregation and welcome everyone!  At this time, we are not wheelchair accessible, but we are in the planning stages of making that change.

Our minister is Rev. Tracy Crick-Butler whose passion for Family Ministry is leading our congregation to learn, explore and reach out while strengthening our own family bonds, no matter what shape your family takes.

Worship is at 11:00 am, with Sunday School at the same time.  Please consider joining and praising the Lord with us if you live in or are just visiting the Thorndale area!

About the Service

Service is at 11:00. Sunday School follows a short Children's Story and Hymn at the beginning of the service.

About the Neighbourhood

Thorndale is a small, but growing, community located North East of London, Ontario.  We are a short drive to London, St. Marys, Dorchester and the 401.  Thorndale is a full of small town friendly people, bordered by a large rural community.  In 2010, a new school will be built in the village to accomodate the increasing subdivision and current roster of students.

This community has a great deal of spirit and boasts several community groups including Lions, Optimists, Horticultural Society, Agricultural Society (responsible for the Thorndale Fair), Friends of the Library, as well as groups available through the three churches found in the village.

Thorndale United Church

Church Minister

Rev. Tracy Crick-Butler

Thorndale-Zion Pastoral Charge welcomed Rev. Tracy to our family in 2008.  Tracy and her husband, Kevin, along with their three children understand how difficult it is for families to balance life. They approach every opportunity to worship as a chance strengthen their family and the families of the congregation with praise, humour and humility.
