Based on the nominations submitted, we are putting forward the following as the inaugural Council of Wondercafe2.

Treasurer:
Vacant - no nominations received. Council will seek a Treasurer after confirmation.
As you can see, we have had a problem filling one of the roles. Rather than delay the process further (June 30 is getting awfully close), we will make finding a Treasurer a priority item for the new Council. In the interim, Council will choose one of its members to take care of the books and financial reporting.
We have started a poll on Survey Monkey seeking confirmation for the slate above, including the provision for the treasurer to be filled later.

I wouldn't find that funny if it were true. I don't think Jae actually did that I think he's joking. He said the first time that he was just kidding. And he said it a second time in the midst of the embezzlement jokes so I am inclined to think he's still joking and you're over-reacting. I hope.

Look, I don't even know if the vote is close. I haven't logged in to our Survey Monkey account . That's Mendalla's puppy. I'm just trying to avoid a potnetial disaster where a member thinks they are being funny and causes a big problem for us all.

To be fair, you called Pinga a bitch. That's like a giant "flag me" sign, and ranks somewhere north of "idiot", I'd guess. People looove to tell admins and mods how offended they are. Some admins and mods love to delete posts and issue warnings. Theirs is a symbiotic relationship.
Move on. It won't show on your criminal record.
I wouldn't say calling someone an idiot is any less offensive.

Keep cool, chansen. Jae has been admirable reasonable in this thread around the Kimmio/Pinga issue . Now he is being funny.
More people are voting because this is a more important vote to confirm the mods than stuff about the code of conduct.

It's going to be 20-21 here today but is supposed to get up to 25 by Sun-Mon! Personally, I hope find things to do outside, and will be online as little as possible. My wife and I are driving my mom home to rural New Brunswick. Mom winters with us in Toronto and summer son her farm near Bathurst.
