Its' Official!!!

I have said for sometime that I live in an insane household.  It is now documented.

I took my four pets for a check up today.

My cat , Molly,  (she is the black cat in the picture of the bedroom I posted a couple years ago) is grouchy because she is constipated.  She also needs to lose weight so she got a diet cat food.

My mom's cat has been diagnosed with depression.  He is now on prozac.  He is not interested in anything and has lost nearly three pounds since his last check up.

My mom's old cat has a toothache and requires two teeth pulled.  This is going to cost me close to $500.

My mom's dog (formerly my Dad's dog)  has been diagnosed with depression as well but instead of being listless and refusing to eat like the cat the dog jumps up and down ad barks.  She is very hyer active and is going on the dog form of ritalin.

So it is official.  I live in an insane household.

I think it's fair to say that in their own way your pets are in the process of grieving .....

Yes, my mom's forgotten children.  They did not have a chance to say goodbye and nobody explained to them what was happening just all of a sudden Mom was gone and I was gone a lot from June to December.   Now they have a new "parent" who works a lot.

My family wants me to put some of them down but I don't think that is right.

In 1.5 years they lost both my parents and MY cat went from being an only child to one of four overnight.

I agree that the pets are also grieving and I also agree that putting them down is not an approproiate response since I am assuming that they are all in good health.

BTW it is nice to see a disney character back for you Serena I missed them.

It was the one with the hearts since technically I am seeing two guys right now and it is close to Valentines Day.

Yes.  The pets are all in good health.
