You'd think a guy from the heartland of Canada, Calgary South, would see the value and the skill set development, additionally the PR...in Cows and dairy farming, and the very appealing: Lessons Learned Through Hard Work.

Steven Harper's conservatives want to squander an award winning dairy herd to undermine any efforts to keep prison farms in Canada. It's not like there are many (6?) and this is for medium security level crimes. 

Forget about people, and rehab, and healty cows being sold off, and success stories from the people that are working now because of the hard work of running a farm.  Hard work, folks. Remember that?
