The fam and I are listening to kids Christmas music on an iPad app I downloaded called Songza. It's not new - I'm just getting old and falling further and further behind the curve.
Songza is a free streaming music service. You select the genre from an endless list of playlists, and it streams them to your iPad, iPhone, or Android device. Did I mention free?
There are no ads in the audio - only on the screen. The licencing works such that you can not rewind or repeat a song, and you can only skip 6 song per hour. You can change playlists whenever.
Highly recommended.

Little M has it loaded on our tablet (an Acer Android) but I haven't really used it much and may actually have moved on to another streaming service IIRC. I mostly listen to Tunein which is a different beast - it aggregates streamed podcasts and the Internet streams put out by radio stations. I basically use it to turn my BB or tablet into a radio when I'm in wi-fi range (don't want to stream over 3G because my company pays for the data plan).

Pandora is my favourite of these types of apps, Chansen.
Sadly, it cannot be picked up in Canada unless you go through a us proxy server

I've been hearing buzz that we may get it eventually. In the meantime, I'm making do with a combination of Slacker (for music) and Tunein (for podcasts and streaming radio).
