No longer single!

I'm back a married women! The weather was perfect; I was getting a little worried about rain the day before but it stayed a great temperature for hauling around a big dress and there was enough clouds for photos that if we were squinting we just had to wait a minute for the next cloud to cover the sun.
Was it ever exhausting though! I've been back a few days and have been pretty quiet on the cafe, just popping in a little bit. There was so much last minute stuff to do, the wedding itself felt jam packed to me, a BBQ the day after and then a few days of travelling around to visit people. I'm looking forward to a quiet weekend just the 2 of us and finding places for all the presents. I'm giving myself some time off before writing thank you notes. I want to do photo ones and hopefully I can get a photo quickly enough to not send out 2 sets.

Tabitha, unfortunately the mosquitos were out in Calgary earlier than here. Luckily for me a veil works quite well as mosquito netting! We were also at my aunt & uncle in laws' place, so they were able to spray (beforehand & while taking photos). The bridal party ended up bitten up pretty bad anyway though. I was ok the day of, but at the BBQ the next day I was bitten lots and sunburnt.
I've been thinking that the veil would be useful here now! How crazy would I look walking around with it outside over my everyday clothes?

Well Chemgal it would probably scare away all the mosquitos as well as you probably wouldn't have to avoid people because they would be avoiding you.
Also Congrats and wonderful wishes for you new life together. Your dress is absolutely gorgeous.

I've seen some gorgeous pictures of people who got married in Banff and Canmore, especially for winter weddings. We decided to stick closer to our parents' places, but so far we have some pretty good pictures, I'm looking forward to getting the rest!
Thanks musicsooths, I liked the dress the moment I saw it. My mom was torn between mine and another one, but the decision was much easier for me! Lastpointe, we're enjoying living together for now! Pretty soon he'll be elsewhere during the week, but we'll be together most weekends and some weekdays as well. It's only temporary while he's in working in a small town and I'm finishing school. He's hoping to get transferred to a city fairly soon and I may do some writing when I'm a bit closer to finishing to the town, there will probably be less distractions there!
