This may be an actual news story, about an actual event. I can not begin to explain how awesome it is. Thankfully, the person appears to be okay, which means we can laugh today, rather than waiting the customary three days before laughing.
PETERSBURG, Ky. - A staff member of the Creation Museum in Boone County was struck by lightning Wednesday while operating the the zip line attraction.
A call came in from the museum to Boone County Public Safety Communications Center at approximately 1:19 p.m. reporting a man was struck on the attraction, a dispatcher said.
Emergency crews were on the scene at 1:45 p.m. to administer first aid.
The lightning strike victim, who is in his 20s, was conscious and complaining of tingling fingers when he was taken to an area hospital, according to a Creation Museum spokesperson.
He told authorities he was in the process of clearing the zip line due to the storm when he said he was suddenly shocked.
Workers were clearing the zip line when they heard a loud boom, the spokesperson added.
The zip line attraction, with 23 lines and 10 sky bridges, opened at the museum in mid-June.

The point? Sorry, I don't see what's fascinating about a lightning sytke. It happens. The Creation Museum? Are you suggesting a connection. Chansen?

Yea, I'm a little confused by this one too Chansen, do you see irony in the fact that he was hit by lightening at a "creation museum"?

Reading the article, for whatever reason, I found myself wondering, "What would Pat Robertson think about this one?"

Redbaron: He'd think it was because of the gays. Waterfall: Agreed, it's weak.

Somehow, it was funnier last night. The idea of God striking the Creation Museum with lightning made me laugh.
Also, sometimes jokes bomb. It happens, even to me.

Amongst my many gaffes, I once started a thread called,"Giant Meteor Heading Towards Earth", It went over like a lead balloon. I understand,

I like the poetic justice of it. Quite a lot. Now if Pat Robertson were to come down with a disease that made his little penis fall off, that would be even funnier.

Hmm... Maybe the lesson here is: don't work on zip line attractions during a storm...?

"then God is an iron."
Any ironworker will tell you that a hole in iron is called a "holiday" ... a recreational period (de void) in which to store thoughts ... why the Israelites liked to go into the desert from time to time ... like drift off outa delight?
Then they could kohl off ... from da's wett of life while drifting over the san ... that's without, or beyond like myth ... pure irony ... sometimes called allegory ... since we know no beta ... step to follow!
Then you're rite intuit again like Joe's and John's ... common apellations ...dissonance in the flat out? Still nothing without the fey or Ephraim a beginning ... o'Nell ... that's Ur ... Big Sur in de spread ...
