Just wanted to give everyone a heads up that I've found myself a job - at the United Church of Canada. Crazy, eh?

JGER =Justice, Global and Ecumenical Relations
The United Church of Canada has partnerships with Christian councils, national churches, ecumenical organizations and agencies around the world. The Justice, Global and Ecumenical Relations Unit facilitates the relationships. It is those reltionships that enable The United Church of Canada and our global partners to work together.
Faerenach, I wish you all the best in your new position.

For a while there I thought you were working for a sub-office of the Judge Advocate General and that you wrote "United Church" when you meant "United States". Congratulations! I actually think you'll find the church job more satisfying (than prosecuting prisoners at Guantanamo) ... I think ... but I could be wrong ...

Yey! Congrats! And best of luck wading through church politics! ;-) It can be pretty thick, I've been told!

My post was for those who do not know the acronymns and lingo and may or may not be members of the United Church of Canada. The use of Christianese or church speak can be off-putting to those who do not speak the language.
Faerenach, you will do great!

Thanks so much everyone!
I'm just a Program Assistant - so I'm pretty much a liaise for a myriad of people - both internally and externally. SO much to learn! It's a good thing I like learning. Also, I will do my best to represent the JGER (just as SG spelled out) on the WonderCafe.
Aaron (or anyone else, for that matter!), if you're around - I'm on the 3rd floor! Drop by!

Aside, musicsooths, I've only met Admin 2 for a brief moment in time. But for that brief moment, he was a dear, kind man. So in young adult speak... he was wicked awesome.
